Aimmune Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: AIMT), Stock Price: $34.22

Nestle is set to acquire Aimmune Therapeutics, the maker of peanut allergy treatments, in a $2.6 billion deal. Aimmune is the maker of Palforzia, the first treatment for peanut allergy to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the U.S. Shares of Aimmune Therapeutics surged almost 170% in pre-market trading on Monday after the news. The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO), Stock Price: 49.53

Coca-Cola has announced a workforce restructuring plan that will include voluntary job cuts. This restructuring plan comes as the company streamlines its drink portfolio to focus on larger and more popular brands. Coca-Cola expects the restructuring plan to cost the company $350 million to $550 million. Coca-Cola’s Q2 earnings fell 33% due to the pandemic, but the company has said it is trying to emerge from the crisis stronger than before. Click here to read more

The TikTok suitors

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT), Stock Price: $225.53

Walmart Inc (NYSE: WMT), Stock Price: $138.85

Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL), Stock Price: $57.22

TikTok has chosen a bidder for its U.S business and a deal could be announced as soon as Today. Microsoft, in partnership with Walmart, and Oracle are the top contenders. The sale price is expected to be somewhere between $20 billion to $30 billion. We are watching to see which party will carry out the purchase and how investors will react to the transaction. Walmart already reached a 52-week high of $139.35 on Thursday last week, after the news broke that it would be teaming up with Microsoft for a TikTok bid. Click here to read more.
